Twist it hard.

Plumbers in the past must have been tremendously strong to actually install all the ductwork of a house. Not only are the old iron pipes heavy and inflexible, their connecting parts also present a huge task to fasten.

Bye bye main bath!

Time to finally part with the last remaining bathroom in our house. Some of these pipes will be salvaged for our new sink and toilet, while some will be discarded. And of course, the blue tiles will certainly be a "go".

Light box.

We have started installing pod lights in our basement. As much as this type of light being so widely used, it is actually my first time to see how they get attached to the floor joists prior the installation of drywall ceilings.

New shower...finally!

Today is such an exciting day! The shower in our master bathroom is finally complete. We can finally take a nice long shower without having to ask someone downstairs to turn on the hot water knob for the bathroom upstairs.

What's new in the master bathroom?

Here it is, installed and ready for use in our master bathroom. The cabinet though, is still in the design process. The current one is only temporary for the mounting of the sink.

Rust.

Rusts are often photographers' favourites, but not architects. So which one should I be? Good question.

After three full days of commuting more than two hours on the TTC to get to my training centre, I am happy that it is time to get back to work tomorrow. No more waking up at 6am in the morning! All I can say is, I absolutely HATE the TTC! On a happier note, I am, surprisingly, starting to fall in love with REVIT. The program is just too powerful in what it can perform for you in comparison to other programs. Life would have been one hundred times easier if I knew about this program during my last term of school. Unfortunately, it's too late now.
